This is the original video but they made another one, I think I prefer the original as the cuts are less overwhelmingly quick and confusing but both are great. Having watched them both again I think the second more recent one tries to do too much it conveys a feeling of visual overload very effectively but the imagery is more connected to a general idea than specifically conveying the ideas of the lyrics. Although the approach of visually representing the lyrics of the song could be too illustrative I think in this context it makes for a more successful music video. Perhaps with this taken into consideration the second video would be more influential if I was to make a piece of work in this medium. I like the sense of humour which takes something quite troubling and makes a joke out of it but still retaining a certain critical message.

We took the idea of photoshopping and digital re-imagining of the self to its most extreme conclusion with our new video. We laid out loose guidelines for a huge number of creative digital artists and let them run free with their imaginations, each editing literally only a few seconds of video in total. The result is a very colourful and diverse explosion of ideas, the image of ourselves re-imagined hundreds of times in 3 minutes.
